This event intends to facilitate personal contacts between students and individual senior scientists with whom they would be specially interested in changing ideas about future work, scientific career or ask for suggestions regarding current research. To participate in this activity it is required an inscription by email to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , after the end of the registration process, when the list of senior scientists becomes available. In that inscription the students will indicate the name of the scientist with whom they are interested in talking to.

Awards will be attributed to the 1st, 2nd, 3rd best oral and poster presentations by students who indicate their intention during the registration. Eligible participants are all that are now students or were until last year. Accreditation will be required during the online registration process. The student should also be the first author of the talk/poster presented at the meeting.

All participants are invited to send an original picture under the theme of Limnology to apply for the award of best picture! The photos must be print in photo paper (size 15x20 cm) and delivered at the registration desk, in the first day of congress. The pictures will be exhibited and voted during the meeting and the best picture will be announced during the closure ceremony.

All participants are invited to send an original cartoons related to the life of limnologists/ecologists to apply for the award of image!
